CHARTER OF THE HABSBURG LEAGUE

With the blessing of God the Almighty!
We, the charter members of the Habsburg League, being mindful of our responsibility towards creation, find it necessary to establish an order, which pledges its undying allegiance to the One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church, in order to maintain those Christian ideals we hold dear and were sent down to us from God the Father Almighty and our way of life.
Article One:
The name of the guild is to be THE HABSBURG LEAGUE and it's symbol, logo and icon to be that of the a Reichsadler upon the flag of the Austrian Empire.
The theme of the guild is to be primarily that of the House of Habsburg and their dominions, including but not limited to; The Holy Roman Empire, The Austrian Empire, The Austro-Hungarian Empire, The Kingdoms of Hungary,Bohemia, Dalmatia, Croatia, Slavonia, and Galicia, Lodomeria, and Illyria and Jerusalem, The Archduchy of Austria, Grand Duchy of Tuscany and Cracow, The Duchies of Lorraine and of Salzburg, of Styria, of Carinthia, of Carniola and of the Bukovina, The Grand Principality of Transylvania, The Margraviate of Moravia, The Duchies of Upper and Lower Silesia, of Modena, Parma, Piacenza and Guastalla, of Auschwitz and Zator, of Teschen, Friuli, Ragusa and Zara, The Counties of Tyrol, of Kyburg, Gorizia and Gradisca, The Principlaities of Trent and Brixen, Margraviates of Upper and Lower Lusatia and in Istria, The Counties of Hohenems, Feldkirch, Bregenz, Sonnenberg, The Lordships of Trieste, of Cattaro, and in the Windic March and The Voivodship of Serbia.
Article Two:
There shall be a Grand Prince of the Order, who will rule over the guild's funtions. He is to be elected by the Order in general convention, and will reign until abdication or death. They may veto the decisions of the Order in general convention, and may promulgate laws or regulations or policies as they see fit. The Grandmaster of the Order has the power to appoint officers as he see fits, and will administer the Order. The Order in general convention has no power to overrule the Grandmaster or his officers. When the Grandmaster is being elected, the Order in general convention must agree 2/3 on a candidate before they may be elected.
To further organize the guild, the guild shall be divided in military style into units based upon each members anscestry (i.e. Croatian Regiment, Bavarian Regiment, Tyrolean Regiment, etc.) Each regiment is to be headed by an Oberst, Ezredes, Pukovnik or other rank equivalent to that of a Colonel, dependant upon the nationality of the unit.
Article Three.
As to stress the religious and christian nature of our undertaking and to implore the aid of heaven for our efforts, Saint Henry II and Blessed Karl of Austria are to be the patrons of the Habsburg League.
Article Four.
The Ranks of the League are to be as follows:
1. Grand Prince/Grand Princess (Großfürst/Großfürstin) - Head of the Guild.
2. Prince/Princess (Prinz/Prinzessin) - High ranking officers of the Guild.
3. Count/Countess (Graf/Gräfin/Komtess) - Mid Ranking officers of the Guild.
4. Oberst/Ezredes/Pukovnik - Regimental Commanders.
5. Baron/Baroness (Freiherr/Freifrau/Freiin) - Low ranking officers of the Guild.
6. Knight/Lady (Ritter/Edelfrau) - Non-Ranking guild members.
Article Five:
Any further amendments must be ratified by 2/3 of the vote of all nobles about the rank of Count and the approval of the Grand Prince.
We solemnly enact these principles for the government of the League in the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen.
