Maybe we better make a list of governments we do recognize- it would be a lot shorter.

I would actually count Poland and Malta as legitimate.

The Polish Monarchy ceased to exist in 1795. Poland was refounded as a republic. It's not as if the overthrew their monarch.
Same goes for Malta, GB stole Malta from the KoSJ, Malta is later given independence as a republic.
