O God, who prepared the Roman Empire for the preaching of the Gospel of the eternal King, extend to Thy servant, our Emperor, the armoury of heaven, so that the peace of the churches may remain undisturbed by the storms of war, through Christ Thy Son our Lord, Who lives and reigns in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God forever and ever.
