As you probably know, the area where the Empire had previously been is in a period of unprecedented stability. There hasn't been a major European conflict in over 50 years. But, south-eastern Europe is not stable. The territory of the Empire in the east, where the schismatic claimants derived from, is ripe for a new Empire. If the schismatics could be suppressed, I believe that the region could hold a new Emperor in the western tradition. What are your thoughts?

One benefit of restoring the Empire in the traditional regions would be that the regions would be stabilized. If the Easterners could be swayed from their autocratic tradition into the Western model of subsidiarity, it might work. But what of China and the inevitable antagonism that might lead to a war crushing the Empire as it arose? Not that I'm saying things would be much easier in the West, still the traditions of the West would form another layer of support to the empire.

I'm pretty sure HRE/Catholic prophecies are what Restorationist devotes his life to.

I'm pretty sure HRE/Catholic prophecies are what Restorationist devotes his life to. Pretty much that and writing (and a little amateur film-making).

Due to Bl. Karl's marriage to Zita of Bourbon-Parma, it is possible (in my opinion very likely), that the Great Emperor would be a Habsburg. Anyone else reached the same conclusion?
