I have just read a most disturbing article on Masonic Infiltration of the Catholic Church, I was wondering what everyone's thoughts were on the subject. I know of the following: Assassinated Gabriel Garcia Moreno. Aided the French Revolution. Aided the Second Spanish Republic. Possibly involved in murder(?) of Prince Rudolf von Habsburg. |

Well, I think that the while Freemasons wish us to think they have that kind of power in the Church, they don't (not saying that they don't have a considerable presence in the Church).
It's pretty much certain that Rudolf was murdered (if you believe the evidence given by the family).
This is kind of off topic, but the 30th degree of Freemasonry, the Illustrious and Grand Commander of the White and Black Eagle Grand Elect Kadosh, uses a double-headed eagle as its insignia, and part of the ceremony of membership includes stomping on a mitre and a crown (the mitre-crown was a symbol of the Holy Roman Emperor).

The traitor Lajos Kossuth was a freemason, so they may have been behind the 1848 revolutions.

They probably were behind the Second Spanish Republic, though supposedly there's some evidence that they were against the French Revolution.

They were definitely behind the French Revolution, all of the leaders were Freemasons.
They were behind the assassination of Archduke Ferdinand and Archduchess Sophie and World War I.
They supported Benito Juarez, and butchered Catholics in Mexico.
FDR and Truman were 33rd Degree Freemasons. So Nagasaki and Hiroshima were probably targeted to murder innocent Catholics.

I know about Juarez, most South American revolutionaries had ties of some sort to Freemasonry.
Could either of you provide some info on the links between Freemasonry and the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand and Duchess Sophie? I was under the impression that it was arranged by the Serbian Government, as opposed to merely supporting the Black Hand, as most claim. How do the Freemasons factor into it?

The Serbian Government was the Black Hand or at least closely connected with it, especially in the military. And the Serbian King Alexander of Yugoslavia, a supporter of the Black Hand before the war, was himself a Freemason. Also the oath of the members of the Black Hand is very Masonic sounding:
"I (...), by entering into the society, do hereby swear by the Sun which shineth upon me, by the Earth which feedeth me, by God, by the blood of my forefathers, by my honour and by my life, that from this moment onward and until my death, I shall faithfully serve the task of this organisation and that I shall at all times be prepared to bear for it any sacrifice. I further swear by God, by my honour and by my life, that I shall unconditionally carry into effect all its orders and commands. I further swear by my God, by my honour and by my life, that I shall keep within myself all the secrets of this organisation and carry them with me into my grave. May God and my brothers in this organisation be my judges if at any time I should wittingly fail or break this oath." |

I'm not quite sold on that point. There are many Freemasonry knockoffs that have similar oaths but are unaffiliated. The bold text is just a general "secret society no giving away the secrets" clause.

I think the stronger point is that King Alexander was Freemason. The rest is speculation, but I thought that similarity of the oaths bore mentioning.
